Weiwei Presented at the 4th EAGE Conference on Petroleum Geostatistics in Florence, Italy

10 September, 2019

Following the successful conferences in Toulouse (France) in 1999, Cascais (Portugal) in 2007 and Biarritz (France) in 2015, the 4th edition of the EAGE Conference on Petroleum Geostatistics was held from 2nd to 6th of September in Florence, Italy. This conference focuses on new methods and applications in the field of geostatistics for the petroleum industry. While maintaining its strong focus on geo-modeling, integration of various data sources and uncertainty quantification. PhD student, Weiwei Zhu attended the conference and delivered an oral presentation. The presentation topic is “Correlation analysis of fracture intensity descriptors with different dimensionality in a geomechanics-constrained 3D fracture network”.  The extended abstract of the paper is attached:  https://gaia.kaust.edu.sa/Documents/Publications/WeiweiZhuTuPG07.pdf
